The recent media hype around the Louis-Vuitton Foundation, designed by Frank Gehry, reflects an idealized image of the architect: a star-creator, freed from all constraints – especially financial – drawing exceptional buildings. But this image of Epinal masks a different reality. If it is less glorious, it is especially very worrying, as shown by the survey conducted by Ifop for the National Council of the Order of Architects (Cnoa).
